Faces of the DCC
The Faces of the DCC website leads us on an experience to understand how the funds that are invested in cancer research play a role in the lives of cancer survivors. The story telling narrative shares personal survivorship stories, including how particular physician-researchers play a role. Physicians and researchers at Sylvester discover, develop, and deliver more-targeted therapies leading to better outcomes. At Sylvester, patients have access to more treatment options and more cancer clinical trials than most hospitals in the southeastern United States. This site outlines the funding distribution and showcases the contributions made by community leaders.
